Archive-IT is present at Informatie aan Zee!

On 19 & 20 September you can find us at Informatie aan Zee in Ostend. This is the largest trade fair in the library and information sector in Flanders and is organised by the VVBAD (Flemish Association for Library, Archive and Documentation).

You can find us on Informatie aan Zee together with Becis, a digital information and innovation consultancy based in Amsterdam. They help organisations to create a clear vision with regard to the positioning of their information management. This means, for example, that they advise organisations on cleaning up or reorganizing their files. This is where our two worlds come together, because that can be an important act before the files can actually be digitised or archived: the specialism of Archive-IT.

Digitisation & archiving

The digitisation or external archiving of the archive has many advantages, namely:

• The security of data is better guaranteed;
• Information is also available outside office walls and office hours;
• No worries about fire, burglary and/or water damage;
