Machine learning improves your information management
In today's digital world, streamlining information management has become essential for organisations of all sizes. One technology that is changing...
Artificial what…? Pff, another difficult word; do we need to get into it? We think so. In short, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the collaboration between machines and people. By mid-2019, it will be impossible to imagine our lives without technology. High scholars argue that AI is not a hot item, but in terms of size it can be compared to an industrial revolution. Just look at the jobs of the future.
Some of the changes of recent years:
It is not the case that machines replace people. Artificial Intelligence is based on the fact that, through the use of machines, people are strengthened. Machines can do the heavy work. By applying intelligence to machines, repetitive work can be programmed in advance. Man is flexible but cannot do eternal work. A robot, on the other hand, works longer, a sensor sees more and big data knows more. AI will take over people’s jobs, but on the other hand it will also create new jobs and opportunities.
Some examples of Artificial Intelligence in practice may include: image recognition, speech recognition, translation and games. Archive-IT also applies AI within its field of expertise. Think, for example, of OCR, which is also a form of AI. Smart technology converts an image (scanned document) into text. But we go much further. Through our Vitalising service we actually add value to data. By recognising words in documents using software, we can index, classify and classify them. Fully automatic. Files are given new layouts and we can give information to certain values. If we go even further, we can analyse the large amount of data being processed and make connections. Data is then actually transformed into information. The possibilities are endless.
For Artificial Intelligence you need data, a lot of data. The more data, the better’ is what it sounds like. But more data is not always better. We prefer better data, i.e. quality to quantity.
