Through the Social Fund, Archive-IT has once again donated to various charities, great initiatives and other special actions in the third quarter of 2024. These donations are realised through part of the profit distribution set aside by Archive-IT employees themselves. This amount is then doubled by Archive-IT's management and donated to various causes. This quarter, we made several donations, which we are happy to tell you about!
Burger Bos
Burger Bos is a forest that contains trees with special meanings. Anyone can plant a tree to celebrate a special event: the birth of a child or grandchild, a birthday, a wedding, an anniversary, a death or to express a life motto. The forest is located in the hamlet of Ronkenstein, in Reuver.
Schoolbus project Herman Broerenschool
The Herman Broerenschool is a specialised school in Roermond for children aged 4 to 20 with a developmental delay. Here, pupils learn through practical experience, both inside and outside the school. Through external work placements and work projects in Central Limburg, they are gradually prepared for future workplaces. To transport the pupils safely to their work placement and work project, the school wants to realise a school bus.
Amsterdam City Swim
On Sunday 8 September, the Amsterdam City Swim took place in Amsterdam's canals. The Amsterdam City Swim Foundation aims to raise as much money as possible for research into the deadly disease ALS. In honour of his aunt, who died of ALS, Bastin van Oers swam 2.1 km.
The Eye Fund
The Eye Fund works ambitiously towards a society in which blindness and low vision no longer occur. They do this by funding more and more effective, patient-oriented, innovative and promising scientific research. They also provide general education to the Dutch public about eye diseases, with the goal of good eye health.
You too may suggest charities that could use a one-off donation. These will be considered by the Social Fund and who knows, we may be able to help. Together we are strong! Contact us at sociaalfonds@archive-it.group.
